I Am that I AM is Your Backer

While walking in the kitchen last week:  I heard these words, I Am that I Am is your backer: instantly Abba, Father reminded me of the time He summoned me to the foyer of my house.  Vividly, I recalled being so afraid of being in that part of the house near the garage.  However, I knew obedience is key to growing and the fear was not of God.  At exactly 2 a.m.  Through an open vision, a very tall slim man entered my driveway, he appeared to be walking on stilts, he wore a black cloak and was very angry so much so much so that, he stormed past the garage door, went through the front gate and tore open the front door, he bolted through the front room, passed the dining room, went into the kitchen.  Opened the door to the foyer and as he extended his hand to grab me, I Am that I Am, spoke to him, I have been expecting you!  Abba Father reminded me of the call of Moses from the Book of Exodus Chapter 3 (please: Read the entire chapter during your time of leisure) verse (14) And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel.  I AM hath sent me unto you.  Verse (15) And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel.  The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham. The God of Isaac and the God of Jacob hath sent me unto you: this is my name forever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.  Yahweh was equipping Moses to lead and He intercepted Moses in an unusual way; through a burning bush which caught Moses’ attention and as he drew nearer for a closer look.  This was a commissioning moment for Moses.  God called him into action.  God was asking Moses to go back to Egypt, where he was wanted for murder (kindly read Exodus chapter 2).  Yes, God wanted him to deliver an entire nation that was enslaved by Pharaoh. Moses was completely terrified because he grew up with the ruler, who had a personal hit out on his life.

Wherever you are on your journey perhaps you are stuck at a crossroad, overcome by fear of man and the past which seem to haunt and hinder you from being obedient to Yahweh’s Call to go and do that which He has mandated you to do.  Have you found yourself making excuses like Moses did to God:  Firstly, Moses did not think he was important enough: Secondly, he wondered if his message was compelling, and thirdly, Moses asked the question, will he speak eloquently.  Moses had to learn that when God calls someone to do something, He can be trusted to guide the process, and as you read further in the book of Exodus you will find that I AM that I AM was a Backer for Moses when he confronted Pharaoh and as the people murmured against him.  Moses’s response was to pray in Exodus chapter 5 verse (22) and Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Lord, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated these people? Why is it that thou hast sent me?  Verse (23) For since I came to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people, neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.  Take note of what happened after Moses prayed to the LORD in Exodus chapter 6:  God renewed His Covenant with Moses. Verse (1) Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.  Verse (2) And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD:  Verse (3) And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.  Verse (4) And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers. Exodus chapter 7 is where God gave Moses His instructions.  I Am that I Am brought ten plagues to Egypt and destabilized the authority of Egypt’s rulers, religion, economy and their social well-being.  They demonstrated that Yahweh cannot be defeated or outwitted.  As the plagues worsened, God continued to destroy the Egyptians way of life.  Darkness was the ninth plague and it brought gloom throughout the land of Egypt especially because they worshipped the sun god.  The final plague was far worst.  Every firstborn child and animal in the land of Egypt died.  This is what broke Pharaoh’s resistance.  Yes, I Am that I Am destabilized Egypt’s power structure while Israel’s confidence in God increased.

In conclusion:  While I walked in my kitchen only a week ago.  Those words Abba, Father spoke, I Am that I Am is your Backer resonated with me and as I envisioned the tall fierce  man cloaked in black as he walked enraged against me, could not help but wonder, where did he get such authority and power to access my front gate, bust the front door open.  Walk through the living room, pass through the dining room. Enter the kitchen to locate me?  But now I realize that Abba, Father summoned me to prayer ahead of what the adversary had planned and my obedience brought the presence of God, to wipe out this intruder like He destroyed Pharaoh’s army in the red sea.  Precious reader, Do you realize that the agony, heartache, disappointment, sleepless nights, afflictions to name a few that you have been experiencing could be a part of Abba, Father’s plan to deliver and elevate you to your place of Divine Destiny?  The children of Israel did not know that what they experienced was all a part of God’s plan.  The news of the plagues in Egypt spread to surrounding nations.  People recognized the Israelites as the people whose God was powerful and could send plagues.  God had a masterful plan to actually eradicate the entire army of Pharaoh.  In the open vision, Abba, Father delivered me from my fear and showed Himself:  as I Am that I Am, my Backer!  Allow: I Am that I Am to be your Backer in what you are experiencing at this moment.  Show up at the secret place of prayer, be consistent, persistent and relentless in the studying of the Word of God.  I Am that I Am is Your Backer:  He awaits you at the secret place of prayer!

OUR LOVE HAS STOOD THE TEST OF TIME!!!!!!!!

Remembering at age seventeen the night we met! It had to be destined for me to travel another route home, and stop off to the little convenient store. As I opened the door there you were, sparks flying all across the room. Then you extended your hand to me, introducing yourself and when your hand touched mine, it set off such an explosive reaction! Instantly I knew you were the one for me. You were much older but that did not matter! We have been through many, many storms and lived in the low valleys for awhile. Yet our love has stood the test of time. We have argued a whole lot and have been angry at each other, yes we have wronged each other too. Yet at the end of each day, we sure did settle it! and oh did we! We have both passed through the valley of the shadow of death. Still our love has stood the test of time. And after all these years I'm still in love with you! I see us climbing mountains together soaring to new dimensions, soaring to our divine destiny, and becoming a for
