The Worth of a Father

I was having a   wonderful time playing with the children in the yard when the call came that my mother had summoned me to come home.   She had some news to share with me.   Mother had gotten married and introduced   me to her husband.   These are the words she spoke to me,   This is your stepfather.   As a little girl, I had never known what it was like to have a daddy and wondered why.   I did not have a father and O how it would hurt each time the children at school taunted and teased me because I did not have have a surname.   This made me very angry, but there was a love embedded within my heart for my father even though I did not know his name.   God hears and He answers prayers. When I met my stepfather instantly he became my father.   He gave me his surname and although he was a strict disciplinarian, it is because of his upbringing that has been instrumental in the woman I am today.   He protected me from imminent danger, always provided and was present in the home.   As

Is Yahweh's Servant Blind and Deaf?

I was standing near the kitchen sink when I heard these words, who is blind and deaf?   At that moment, as I continued my chores, I kind of   dismissed it, but soon after I began to experience difficulty with the vision in my eyes.   The words on the pages of the Bible were at times barely visible.   Straightaway I made an appointment to have my eyes checked.   If that was not bad enough my two ears began to hurt severely, on the other hand, I tried to bear the pain and proceeded that Sunday morning to teach the youth class and during the class, everything was going well, at what time unexpectedly I lost the hearing, in both of my ears.   I had asked a question and needed to ask the teen to repeat his answer three times, then was still unable to hear him.   I could only hear his voice in a muffled tone, but was unable to understand what was being said.   The Word spoke to me, Who is blind and deaf?   I did not answer and proceeded to attend the morning worship service, however,
