Seeds of Hope Nuggets

Awakened from sleep to ponder this question, “Have you become too busy like Martha and are you failing to spend time at Jesus’ feet like Mary; glanced over at the clock it was three am.   This question from Abba Father caused me to sit and get up to go and spend time in the secret place.   Fear greeted me at the door yet I was so troubled about this, the two edged sword in my hand 2 Timothy 1:7 cut fear asunder, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”   Immediately there was such a calm assurance of peace which illuminated my entire being.   The LORD warned of the danger of being so programmed by prayer books yet failing to sit and listen in the secret place.   (Prayer books are wonderful books and are tools to help you and me.)   This was a personal rebuke which reminded me of a dream where I was praying in my bathroom out of one of the prayer books; I saw a large gray bird perched on the outside corner of the roof that placed him di
