REFLECT

It is time for people (me too) all around the world especially here in the Bahamas to sit and reflect on the devastating storms and of how Yahweh divinely intervened not only where you are but right here on the island of Grand Bahama in the city of Freeport! Many are without a job and businesses are foreclosing, eviction notices seem to be multiplying yet as you reflect you are still alive and you may not be able to explain it to anyone how Jehovah Jireh has provided everything you needed throughout 2013!   He did not allow you to go to bed hungry even though it may not have been your choice food, “it hit the spot” so to speak!   Reflect on how bare the cupboards maybe but the essentials are there Reflect on Abba Father’s favour even in the midst of tragedy! Some have lost everything and what looked like the end became a new beginning!   As you reflect God has turned the pages of your life and as you are about to enter into 2014 these words are echoing, “You can make it!” Pause

BUT GOD!

The NEW Webster’s Dictionary Definition of But: Adjective, only merely, just two conjunctions, yet and on the other hand. Today you may be faced with some challenging situations and maybe even heart broken over the condition you may have found yourself in.   I just stopped by to tell you but God! Yes, you heard right but God!   He has on the other hand stepped into your situation and is healing your broken heart! Kindly go to the book of Ruth chapter one let us begin at (1 )”Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land.   And a certain man of Bethlehem, Judah, went to dwell in the country of Moab, he and his wife and his two sons.”   (2)”The name of the man was Elimelech, the name of his wife was Naomi, and the names of his two sons were Mah’lo n and Chilion Eph’rathites of Bethlehem, Judah.   And they went to the country of Moab and remained there.” (3)”Then Elimelech, Naomi’s husband, died, and she was left, and her two sons.”

FEAR VS COURAGE

Be Encouraged As You Read! On a chilly morning courage was walking along the beach when he noticed a most interesting sight.   There in the sky was an array of various colors, which blended so interchangeably with the rays of the sun O might add; the sun had not long risen! Just then fear, who had been following courage interrupted   saying, “You had better go back home it is going to rain any minute and look at those sharp rocks, they are very dangerous to walk on! Courage stood firmly as he looked fear directly in his eye ball and said, “Get your little pea self-back to the lowest hell where you belong!”   He continued, “This beautiful sun in light array with the jagged rocks I will enjoy along with all the other beautiful sights of God’s creation!   I am courage and refuse to be deterred by you spirit of fear!   Take heed fear, the Word is speaking from the book of 2 Timothy 1:1: 7 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and a sound mind.” In

Walk Worthy

While in prayer and walking the floor Abba Father Spoke these words, “Margaret, walk worthy!”   Immediately I sat in a chair to listen as the Word rang out from the book of Colossians 1:10-12. NKJ.   (10 )”that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;” (11)”Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;” (12)”giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.” This Word caused me to sit quietly before the Lord for a while because lately I have just been going and going and not sitting in His presence as I should. Beloved, beware of the trap of becoming so busy doing everything for God but failing to spend the time to sit quietly before Him to hear His instructions as to how and what He would have you to do to carry out His mandate!   It is very dangerous to receive instruct

BE READY!

Be Encouraged as You Read! Just a few nights ago sitting at the computer simultaneously having a conversation on the phone with my sister who lives overseas suddenly, without any warning the entire house was plunged into total darkness!   It was a power outage.   My family and I in various places of the home were not prepared for this at the time. My husband gave the command, ‘Everyone stay where you are!” As I sat in the darkness I thought, “None of us was near enough to any of the flash lights nor did we have the cell phones there!   Then I picked up the cordless phone which was on the desk, pressed the dial button and a light shone from it and just as I was about to get up the power returned to my home!   The Word spoke from the book of Revelation 3: 3 “Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent.   Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.” On your journey wh
