Fighting for the Soul of the Family

    We are celebrating Family Day this week at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and the spotlight has been on the Family.  However, families all across the globe seem to be in a crisis but I stopped by to reassure you that the God who ordained The Family from the very beginning, He is divinely intervening on your behalf this very day.  Last evening, while listening as Pastor Paul read aloud his message for the Church’ Sunday Bulletin, I was moved to share it with you.  May his message not only challenge you but also encourage you to continue to forgive, love and pray for your family members especially those that are of the household of Faith.  Be blessed as you read Pastor Paul’s Message. Take back your Home

   Last week it seemed that no matter how I tried to dismiss the words Abba, Father spoke to me, He persistently said, take back your home!  This reminded me of nine years ago when I worked outside of the home and while I transitioned to being full time in the home found it very difficult and found myself sleeping a lot.  One mid-morning while sleeping, there stood a man by the door watching me, then suddenly another man appeared with a clipboard in his hand and he began to write.  He then threatened the man standing by the door:  He said, if you interfere with even a strand of hair on this woman’s head, I will annihilate you! I awakened absolutely disturbed because the dream seemed so real, I said to Abba, Father:  I am never ever going to fall asleep during the day anymore.  This occurred years ago and I could no longer dismiss these words, take back your home!  Looking at the many household chores still undone, procrastination slapped me in the face, whap!  Abba, Father startled my
