Seeds of Hope Nuggets

I was so excited about baking my special banana bread that I forgot to add the main ingredient and failed to realize it even after it had baked.  Taking it to my son, he sampled it and when he did not give his usual, “mom, you still have the touch.” Well, “how does it taste?” He replied as he nibbled on a little piece he had cut off, “it taste okay.” I thought, “That is a far cry from, ‘Mom, you still have the touch!” Then taking a closer look at the banana bread it dawned on me the texture of the bread was much lighter and it did not have its usual smooth finish. Tasted and knew instantly the main ingredient was missing, the bananas were missing which is what gives the banana bread its flavor! Pausing to sit in a chair I could hardly believe that after making banana bread for all these years, how could I have made banana bread without putting the main ingredient in it?  The Word spoke up from book of Luke 18 KJV beginning from (18)”And a certain ruler asked him saying, Good M

Recently I was reminded of a time when I retired for the night at a very late hour only to be awakened to hear these words, “Get up now!   Get up now!”   My body felt so tired and my eyes needed sleep but the spirit man with in responded to this urgent call.   The Word spoke from Psalm 42:7 “Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; all Your waves and billows have gone over me.” Rising up quickly looking at the clock it was midnight then as I walked into the front room it seemed as if every hair on my body stood up straight for there was a presence of evil and behold there was an awful spirit on the front porch attempting to come in. Opened the word and was instructed to read the Psalms, kept on reading soon the evil spirit very slowly raised itself and grudgingly moved away from the porch and went through the front gate, and then as it moved to the driveway a pack of dogs began a terrible wail

I arrived a bit late for early morning prayer meeting, where a fairly good number of the saints were gathered to pray; then as I sat in the pew, there it was a lizard clinging to a tree planter near to the pulpit and it seemed to say, “I love to be present where the people of God are gathered to pray!” My response was, “Lord, I just want to smack it with my shoe but it would cause quite a stir.”   The lizard stayed through out the entire prayer meeting and at some point as I began walking the floor in prayer, there it stood in my path clinging to the floor as if to say, “Lord, please do not let her stomp me with her shoes!” The Word spoke, “Do not put your foot on it!” Obediently I walked pass but I did not like the lizard being there!   Just then the Word spoke from the book of Job 1:6-7 NKJ .
