When You Have Finished Your Kingdom Assignment Will God Hear Your Prayer?

  On your journey, there are many pitfalls and dangers along the way, but Yahweh has equipped you with everything you need. However, when you have completed your kingdom assignments, will God hear your prayer? For we can become so busy doing lots of things for God, that we can diminish the time we spend in communing with Him. During my devotional time this morning, the book of 2 Chronicles chapter 7 caught my attention, my heart wept as the Word ministered to me of how King Solomon finished the house of the LORD and God answered his prayer. Read it for yourself from the verse (1) Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house. For many years there has been an urgency to tarry all night in prayer until the breaking of the day. I have stumbled along the way and failed several times to pray the whole night through because it seemed futile. One particular morning after being in prayer all night, I lay upon my bed to get some much-needed sleep. No sooner had I lay down, a man arose from the bed and began to beat me with severe blows, on top of my head which left me completely stunned and puzzled all at the same time because he looked exactly like my husband, why are you beating me? However, this infuriated him.
