Friend, Jesus spake a Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector from the Gospel of Luke KJV. Chapter 13 verses (6) A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard: and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Verse (7) Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard. Behold, these three years I came seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: Cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? Verse (8) And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it. This fig tree represents God’s blessings or a people who have a special relationship with Yahweh. In this particular of scripture, the man represents God and the fig tree represents Israel.
