1 Kings 19:1 " And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, also how he had executed all the prophets with the sword. There was a man who was very ill unable to do anything for himself and lay at the gate called Bethesda for thirty eight years. He was waiting to be the first to get in the pool. For you see who ever got in first when the angel troubled the water, they were healed. I was paraphrasing....Here is what really happened to this man from the book of John 5:2 " Now there is in Jerusalem by the sheep gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches. Verse (3) " In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. Verse (4) " For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of what ever disease he had. Verse (5) " Now a certain man was there, who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. Verse (6) " When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition for a long

Sometimes in your darkest hour you have to take action! Step out in faith and do something that you have never done before, like the husband in this story he knew that if he did not go outside during the brunt of the storm. Even though it was risky his whole family could perish.Please do not give up "The darkest hour is just before dawn" Allow the the Lord to guide you safely through. A family hunkered down as the brunt of the storm hit, and darkness filled the entire Island. Suddenly there was water in the living room as a chill swept in and to every one's dismay! The board that protected one of the front windows had fallen off. Now the strong forceful winds threatened to lift the roof off the house. The moment of truth came and the husband knew that he and his sons had to go outside in what seemed like the darkest hour, because his whole family was now in grave danger. At 1:55 am I was still up! and I just love to tell the Lord I love Him, and how much I really do love Him. The reply always comes back " if you love me keep my commandments. " How much do you love Him? Be blessed as you read! I love you! I love you! I will do this, I will do that going where ever you want me to go! I will live a good life Yes I will do that and more! The Master gently replied if you love me just keep my commandments! do not give me anymore lip service. Give to me your whole heart and not your wealth or riches.
